In a robust defensive modernization safeguarding the sovereign digital economy and critical national information infrastructures (CII), the Bangladesh Government's Cyber Incident Response Team (BGD e-GOV CIRT) has operationalized a next-generation AI-powered autonomous cyber defense perimeter. Seamlessly synchronizing twenty-nine mission-critical public and private assets—including Bangladesh Bank, the national electrical grid control center, port container clearing engines, and the national identity biometric database—the centralized Security Operations Center (SOC) provides continuous real-time threat intelligence.

The newly commissioned cybersecurity framework integrates advanced predictive machine learning models with zero-trust network access (ZTNA) protocols. Capable of evaluating terabytes of continuous perimeter telemetry, the autonomous system neutralizes distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) barrages, credential-stuffing sorties, and polymorphic malware vectors within milliseconds without requiring manual operator intervention. The automated shield has successfully mitigated multiple state-sponsored intrusion attempts over recent months.

Cyber intelligence analysts emphasized that in an era of heightened hybrid warfare, safeguarding financial switches and national energy supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) networks is synonymous with defending territorial sovereignty.
